Please! I can't Breadth

Hi

Aditya here,

Today I will not be writing a blog on an issue, today I will deviate from usual fashion of writing and take a more personal talk on issue that is bothering the world.

The issue of discrimination

I am from India, a country having discrimination at each and every level, thanks to the coloniser, opportunistic politicians and ignorant citizen discrimination have creeped in every aspect of life in India. In the time of COVID19, when my country and her citizen needed to be together a humanitarian crisis originated showing that all the policies which are made on the name of poor and downtrodden, all the sympathy shown by fellow citizen all is nothing but show-off. There were stories which restore our faith and give us hope that all is not lost. Also, no matter on what initiative, but Government of India is moving all the machinery to help the poor in this time of crisis. NGO’s are providing food, shelter, government is empowering the local officials who are working day and night to help those in needy.

But what is saw on road of Minneapolis, where a 46-year-old African American man, died while he was restrained by the police officers, shook me from inside. I suddenly felt how the prisoners of cellular jail must have felt when they were punished by the British officers. Suddenly, a rage and at same time a fear griped my heart, because this kind of inhuman treatment cannot be justified in 21st century.

As long as human are on this planet the evil of discrimination cannot be rooted out, and example are right in front of us: -

1.     Black and Native American discrimination in America.

2.     Caste system and religious discrimination in Indian sub-continent (includes, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka)

3.     Religious discrimination in China.

4.     Migrant discrimination in Europe.

These are to name a few, as the whole Africa continent is discriminated at each and every level. From medical testing to development programmes Africa is discriminated at each and every point. Human know that they have just one planet for them till now on which they can inhibit still we treat each other in such inhumane manner.

But, what are the options we have to at least minimise this evil, well I can tell the solution in 3 words,

Change human culture

These three words hold a very wide annotation in themselves. But what is culture?

Culture is used to describe such things as how man earns his living, what kind of house he lives in, what skills he uses, what things he produces, how much knowledge he has acquired, how he lives with his fellow men, what he believes, how much leisure time he has and what he does with this time.

Thus, if we change and optimise our culture such that

  1. We earn enough, this will promote minimalistic living and thus the culture of consumerism will reduce which in turn result in less exploitation of environment.
  2. If we learn skills which promote higher scientific learning in tandem with the spiritual learning then we will do things responsibly. Here is used the term spiritual learning and not religious learning, both of them have huge difference, as the former concentrate on the learning aspect rather the later focuses on the ritualistic aspect and that to for achieving a personal goal.
  3. If we believe in Global Fraternity than this evil can be rooted out from root to shoot.
  4. If we utilise our time and knowledge to abolish these political boundaries and to create a new world order which is different from the concept of nation state then we can address this problem.

In the end I just want to say that there is no fix answer but this issue need urgent remedy, I request all of the bloggers, writers and intellectual to forward their view on the issue of discrimination and ways to root it out from the mind of human so that our new generation don’t have to feel the same which I am feeling now, SUFFOCATED.

Policy of Appeasement: From Projected Foreign Policy Steward To The Reality of a Victim

India in past have come to many border issues with her neighbor, such as Pakistan, China, Bangladesh and Myanmar. These disputes in the border of India is due to the trade & commercial integration that we use to had in whole Indian subcontinent, until 1947. The Indian subcontinent was world most integrated area in terms of movements of goods and people, and ideas, it’s not because of the British, yes, they gave impetus to it. But the integration was done by the previous rulers and civilisation. Even Harappan civilisation use to have trade link in Karnataka as they use to get gold from Kolar gold mines. Second reason of the border dispute was the treaty signed by then head of state or their servants with the British. Some of the area in the treaty was not properly defined and thus became disputed. Thirdly, the ambition and national requirement of a particular nation’s resource need new territories were annexed by hook or crook and thus, became contested border issues. Administrato...

Sino Border Policy and Counter Steps

China – India relations reached a new low recent months as Indian and Chinese troops faced off at various places along disputed LAC, ·        On May 5-6 at Pangong Tso in Eastern Ladakh ·        On May 9 at Muguthang in Sikkim ·        On June 15 – 16, Galwan Valley in Ladakh China have adopted various means and techniques to asset its position on the area. The very purpose of this blog is to inform the reader about various diplomatic and military methods China use and its most possible remedy from Indian side taking military and economic angles. The change in the status of the J&K and making Ladakh a UT had a profound impact in the Chinese South Asia Policy. It is generally understood in the Chinese policy circles that this change in the status quo will be negative for the China’s vision. Thus, a systemic military and diplomatic steps were taken by the CPC. Some of concern that C...

Religious Freedom in India: Naked truth of USCIRF Report

As I write this piece of article in the comfort of my house in India, there are many migrant workers who are walking miles just to reach their native as practically no arrangement has been done by the Union and the State government to take care of them. Scores of patients are flocking to nearby hospital to get themselves tested for the COVID19. And as the last nail in the coffin a great actor and human being had left India.             You all must be thinking why am I reiterating the events of past one week, this I am doing to show a common stand a uniformity in diversity. In India we the people, civil society, press, legislature all of us question the functioning of the government no matter how popular the government get ( one measure of measuring the popularity of the government is the number of seats won by the party in Lok Sabha aka Lower House, present BJP have 282 seats out of 543 ). ·     ...
