Humanising Terrorist: Trend Having Intrinsic Flaw

Recently there has been great activity in the Jammu & Kashmir sector, after the hostage rescue operation of the joint team of J&K police and Indian Army in which 5 of the Indian soldiers and police officer sacrificed their live in that hostage rescue, just day after that petrol convoy of the CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) was attacked and 3 soldiers were martyred in the exchange of gun fire, Indian army started the search operation in the Handwara area, most wanted Hizub Mujahideen ‘Operational Chief’ terrorist Riyaz Naikoo was killed by the Security forces. Instead of condemning the deeds done by the Hizbul Terrorist many wester news agencies started telling background story of the terrorist and started projecting him a situational victim.
There were captions used by the big and news agency, which show a very soft corner of the terrorist ignoring that he is the same person responsible for killing thousands of innocent people, some of them given below: -
Below is the screenshot of “The Indian Express” newspaper dedicating who article to actually tell who Riyaz Naikoo.

But the question that any rational person will ask is why are these news agencies are going this? There are many reasons to this the most probable is that answer is ‘propaganda’. These news channel in the name of human rights, knowingly focus only on the aspect of a person which show the concern person in a very good light, and neglect the very basic reason of why he was shoot dead, the reason of killing thousands of innocent person while acting as a chief operative of Hizbul.
These writers of the article, show that the concerned terrorist was trying to bring order in the life of his community or state or region or religion and that the rest of the world is chaotic trying to pull the person down and thus the concern person turned to terrorism.
Question that need to ask here is: -
Was terrorism only way left to that person to bring change to his life/community/region?
And here is the turf, that all these articles sympathetic to terrorist fails. Take for example the case of Riyaz Naikoo. Many news agencies call him “Math Teacher turn terrorist” and explain the process of how he was kind to his people and student and all sort of humane work he did in his youth before joining the Hizbul.
Coming back to the question of alternative that youth of Kashmir have to improve the condition of their state. The most viable option seen in this case was political activation not terrorism. But the same politicians who sympathise with these terrorist don’t give youth breathing space to grow in politics.
There are many militant organisations working in Kashmir who have their ultimate goal to merge Kashmir to Pakistan. Thus, it is hard to believe that these organisations do not get Pak support either overtly or covertly.
Hizbul is one such organisation which have aim to merge Kashmir into Pakistan and is working to achieve the aim via armed confrontation. One thing that they must have understood by now is that their method hasn’t gave proportionate result. And to a great surprise all the scholars who have sympathy with these terrorists do not tell them that mode of their struggle is not giving them high yield.
The head of state of Islamic world says that world has turn into Islamophobic phenomenon and play victim card to justify their struggle against their respective enemy. And justify that arm struggle is the only method that will emancipate their country. But they forget a very basic fact the fact that M.K. Gandhi taught this world 100 years ago. That time also Gandhi was facing a challenger which have world empire and very hand-line to promote their school of thoughts. Still India emerge out of that repressive regime and showed that with proper negotiation and political direction independence can be achieved in a way better than terrorism.
If people can’t say and express their true feeling via writing then is it not a violation of ‘Right of expression and Speech’?
To this I would say school, college should be free to discuss any kind of idea no matter how much radical the idea is, but giving clear-cut clean chit to a terrorist by a media house in no way a correct way to exercise the fundamental right of free speech and expression.

In the end people of Kashmir should understand that terrorism have given them nothing except - Army action - police action - economic gloom - unemployment - radicalisation - and above all sorrow.
